Does the Argon use a chain or a belt?

The Argon utilizes a Gates-style Belt Drive system. This replaces the traditional greasy metal chain with a durable, silent belt that requires no lubrication and will not get grease on your pants leg. It is cleaner, quieter, and requires less maintenance than a chain.

Is the Argon good for hills?

Yes. Despite its light weight, the 500W High-Torque Hub Motor is capable of climbing mild to moderate hills (up to 6% grades) without issue. The torque sensor detects when you are pushing harder on the pedals and automatically delivers more power to help you ascend.

How fast can the Argon go?
