The Loki is a Class 1 electric mountain bike (eMTB) designed and hand-built in Colorado, USA. It is engineered for riders who require high torque and high battery capacity while adhering to Class 1 regulations, which allow for pedal-assist operation on most non-motorized mountain bike trails.

The bike is powered by an Optibike PowerStorm mid-drive motor that produces 750W continuous with 190Nm of torque. This torque output is significantly higher than the industry standard for eMTBs, providing increased mechanical advantage on steep, technical inclines. As a Class 1 e-bike, the motor provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling and cuts off at 20 mph, ensuring compliance with land management and trail-use policies.

For energy storage, the Loki is equipped with a 1,440Wh battery. This capacity is approximately double that of a standard eMTB battery, enabling longer ride durations and more total elevation gain per charge. The frame geometry is designed to accommodate this large-capacity battery while maintaining the handling characteristics required for off-road trail riding.

Each Loki is hand-assembled to order in our Colorado facility. This manufacturing process allows for precise quality control and ensures the bike is built to handle high-stress trail conditions. The frame and drive system are designed with integrated thermal management to maintain performance during long-duration climbs.
